Jointly developed in 2005/06 with Singapore's Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) & Defence Science Agency (DSTA), the Load Bearing Vest (LBV) is the standard issue of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

It is a one-size-fits all system which come with fully adjustable shoulder straps (height) as well as side straps & belt (width).

It is based on the MOLLE system which allows the user to fully customize & configure his load carrying accessories & pouches based on his requirements & mission.

Made from anti-ballistic nylon, Cordura or polyester, the LBV is rugged & durable; its nylon mesh facilitates air-circulation & reduces heat retention - keeping the soldier cool & comfortable.

It comes with a built-in hydration bladder carrier at the back allowing full hydration system integration without the need for an additional water bottle or pouch.

There's development to launch variants of the LBV for the Singapore Civil Defence & Police Forces.
