Dart Rescue Pack
Designed & developed exclusively for the Singapore Civil Defence's elite DART Unit, this back pack was used for the unit's rescue missions during the Pakistan earthquake in 2005.
It's made of 600D Nylon coated with TPU making it highly resistant to water.
Although it is light-weight, it does not compromise durability - the DART team members who used it in Pakistan and Aceh can testify to it's toughness.
It's unique front & top loading design allows for quick access. Additionally, the pack is able to extend from either the top or the bottom, increasing the capacity from 55 litres to 70 litres.
A similar version based on this model was developed for the Army during it's 3G army transformation. It was known as "The Spartan" - named after the first active unit (6SIR) in Singapore that trialled the back pack.
After a few round of modifications to meet the army's specifications, it's now being used by recruits & active soldiers of the SAF.
